Slow, long songs
The songs are very slow, sad, and boring for kids. There is barely any Mater in the entire thing. My 2.5 year old loves Cars, but this doesn’t hold his attention. Mayer is such a funny character, so we were surprised by how slow paced this Tonie was.

Music is longer than the stories on this one.
There seems to be more music than story in this one too, much like the lightning McQueen one, but the story is better. I didn't hear whether there were one or two stories, as I was in and out of the room, but my grandson seemed to have enjoyed this one a lot more than the one with lightning McQueen. He's more likely to leave the room to do something else if there is music than a story, so having too much music before the story tends to lose his interest before we even get to the story and I kept having to call him back downstairs so that he could hear the story.

Bought this a month ago and my daughter has listened too it every night! So many songs that she recognized from the movies. Along with great short stories!
An old soul
A mix of songs from the movie (a lot of older style songs) and then two short stories. It’s not my favorite as an adult, but my toddler really likes it!

My grandson absolutely loves this. He’s two years old and loves his Tonie, and his 2 favourite characters are matter and lightning McQueen.

Perfect Musical Toy
My grandson really enjoys the talking singing tonies! He takes one off and puts another one on. Music is a universal language - he loves it. Tactile, musical, and full of personality. Great toy for a 14 month old.
