Bought woody and buz and they are the same , the songs are weird and annoying , nothing like the originals , wouldn’t recommend

The product received mostly negative reviews. Customers were disappointed that the audio content did not feature the original voice actors or songs from the Toy Story movies. Instead, it included covers of the songs performed by different artists, as well as some unrelated songs, which many found to be of poor quality. The narrator's voice was also criticized as sounding "bored" or "goofy". Some reviewers noted inappropriate language unsuitable for young children. While a few customers said their children still enjoyed the product, especially the Jessie-focused content, the overall consensus was that the product falls short of expectations and is not recommended.

Not movie songs
I thought there would be real songs from the movie 😭😭
More for older kids
Too young to care, but love ms Rachel! Came with the set. Not bad they are just too young.
Can't stand it but toddler loves it
I can't stand this Tonie but my 2 year old absolutely loves it. The songs are odd and very annoying. I like the little story that has a few recognisable character voices but definitely don't rate it overall.
Only get if your kids NEEDS Woody
My son loves Toy Story so this was a must have. However, it seems the first song they weren’t able to get the rights for and the person singing it is terrible. Then there’s the army guy song (on the Buzz one), then there is this very creepy alien song. The last song I also never heard of. The story follows the movie but there are different voices and phrases than the movie. Overall, I wish I would have gotten a different one.
Ehh
Not a good as I hoped. My little one loves you’ve got a friend in me song but he could care less about the rest.
A bit strange
Very strange one haha, "you've got a friend in me" sounds a bit bizarre, we actually thought it was faulty to start with! I wouldnt recommend unfortunately
We really need original music for all tonies
The songs are so weird, and my child doesn’t like them
Great Tonie!
Great Tonie, my 2 year old and 4 year old boys listen to it a lot.
Don’t Get It
This Woody is terrible. Don’t bother getting it. There’s only like 4 songs. One is a repeat of the Army Men from the Buzz Lightyear Tonie. And it’s not the original Woody voice. Terrible. Would not recommend.
Original, creative and well told
If people want to just listen to the exact replica songs, go find the playlist on a music streaming service. Agreed that the vocals are that of a man being threatened for “You’ve got a friend in me” but the other songs are fab, original and add something new for big fans of the frachise. We particularly like the Alien song! The story is well told and my toddler adores listening to this one.
No good
It’s so rough. The second song is like a military march and my toddler said “all done. Off!” The Claw song is strange. The cover of Friend in Me is decent.
A strange choice…
To be honest, this is the only Tonie that has failed to meet expectations. My son has the Buzz Tonie, and that one has songs that make sense, and the narrator sounds calm. The Woody, however has some songs that are genuinely weird and creepy, and the narrator is way off. Can’t recommend.
The songs are bad
The songs are not good, the iconic “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” sounds like it was recorded by someone in the midst of an asthma attack. The story is fine but the songs are a huge miss.
Not original cast
This tonie angers me but my toddler loves it. It is not even close the original songs and there's new made up songs? What is the alien song?! The story at least uses the voice actors
