Audio Character Disney Pixar Monsters Inc - Sully

We have had this for 8 months and I really wanted to love this tonie, but unfortunately, I found it quite scary for my daughter. We absolutely love Monsters, Inc., so I had high hopes for this Tonie, but it honestly didn’t live up to expectations. The only part we really liked was the first song, which is actually from the movie. Other than that, the rest of the songs feel quite random and, honestly, pretty scary. The narration is ok, but some of the songs are genuinely creepy. In particular, Under the Bed is enough to keep my daughter awake at night, which is definitely not what we want from a Tonie! I’m usually the first to recommend Tonies, and we have so many that we absolutely love, but this is one I would personally avoid if your little one is easily scared. I also found it disappointing that the songs aren’t really linked to the movie. The story isn’t too fast-paced, but I just don’t think it’s a particularly good one either. Overall, it was a bit of a letdown for us, especially considering how much we love Monsters, Inc. I wouldn’t say this is something my daughter would choose a lot from her collection. We’ll be putting ours up on Vinted — hopefully it’ll be a much better fit for another little one! 💙

We love Toni’s products and they are for our blind child. They vary sometimes in length but all of them are good. Sighted children above toddler age will enjoy the story figurines that plays the story on top of the box. They are small and I think magnet in bottom. Appropriate for 5 and up. Otherwise consider the figurines as choking hazard and magnets don’t belong in mouth either. Follow the age limit on packaging.

Absolutely awful. Zero original voice actors. And the ones they picked were terrible.

My daughter loves this tonie and carries it around everywhere

I love that this Tony uses movie clips, but I don't like that the music isn't authentic. We were a bit disappointed in that. Kids noticed these things, and involved parents and grandparents do as well. Great story, and my grandson loves it, though even he noticed that it wasn't the same music as the movie.

This was the rating of a 4 year old. Out of the mouth of babes.

My son loves this movie. Unfortunately this tonie character is scary! The first song is great and the story at the end is a good recap of the movie. The other songs set a very scary scene.

My daughter didn’t r joy this at bedtime, she’s a bit to young so was scared by some of the songs which weren’t in the movie

They all are Christmas presents for my great grandson. I’m waiting for the opportunity to buy Ms. Rachel hopefully soon!

We all want to listen. The grandchildren fight over who will play it. May need to get another. My brother has a Tonies box and he is 71 years old. He does enjoy listening. Highly recommend.

The voice actors are obviously not billy idol or John Goodman. . . Which is a bummer but understandable. Copyright and all. The songs themselves, though, are not going to be ones you want playing on repeat in your head. Trombone parts arent real trombone and theres a scream sample in there that is extra silly. I'd pass on this one.

Fantastic as my grandson loves the films now he can listen to tonics and let his imagination take over.
