The Lion King Tonie has received mixed reviews. While some customers appreciate the interactive features and find it a good way to introduce the story to young children, many are disappointed by the lack of original songs from the movie and the poor sound quality of the cover versions. The Tonie is missing some of the most popular songs, which is a significant drawback for some users. Overall, the product may be better suited for younger children new to the Lion King franchise rather than older fans of the movie.

Terribly Low Volume
My 2.5 year old loves the songs on this, but the volume is RIDICULOUSLY low. Even on the highest volume, you can hardly hear "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" which is his favorite song. Really really disappointed in the volume/lack thereof. I kept it because he still loves listening to it, but was very tempted to return. It is SO quiet.
Good story, let down by the music
Very disappointed that the music isn't from the original soundtrack! The covers are poor quality, it feels like we've ended up with a bootleg. Thankfully my daughter isn't too phased. The story section is well done, with original character voice clips. Music completely lets the product down.

Good for Disney Tonie
Fairly decent, not the original singers as far as I can tell, but I have come to expect that with Disney Tonies. Shorter than some of the other Disney Tonies, but that does not stop my daughter from playing it on repeat every 37 minutes!
Great Tonie
We bought this a few weeks ago and our 15 mo old loves it! He’s been playing it every morning.
Doesn’t include the classics. It’s a shame.
I, like others thought this would be all the classics. It’s not. I wish I’d read the reviews first and not wasted my money. The only redeeming factor is rafiki narrating. But mufasa doesn’t sound anything like the movie. It’s a shame.

Worse than I expected
Even though I know that the Disney songs on all Tonies aren't the the original singers, this one is the worst I have heard so far. "The Circle of Life" is pretty good, but the others are horrible. My daughter even realizes that the songs "don't sound right"
Sing along
Absolutely love Lion King tonie. My 1 year old grandson can’t sing along yet but I sure can !
Not the original movie songs.
It's ok but it was a huge disappointment that the songs are not from the original movie. My son is a little thrown off that they are not the same songs he is used to. Even small changes like that can be confusing for a kid with ASD.

The songs are not from the original soundtrack, which is a bummer. The story itself includes actual dialogue with the original voice actors from the movie. My son loves this tonie, just wish it had original soundtrack songs.
Music not classic
Unfortunately it's not very good. Either the song are taken from the live action movie or resung in the movie style and it's not good. My daughter really wanted the classic version which I added to a creative Tonie instead. If I was aware of this change in song I would have not bought it.

Audio (vol)is kind of low compared with other ones.
