Good selection of tales
Really lovely selection of Beatrix Potter stories. Perfect for bedtime as it is nice and gentle. The stories are well read and the different voices for each one helps them sound like separate, stand alone, tales.
Disappointing
This was really dissapointing! i love jemima puddle duck and the beautrix potter stories and the peter rabbit tonie was fantastic! so i thought id get this too. Unfortunately the other reviews are right the naration is rushed it doesnt capture the story well :(then when it switches chatacters it goes really quiet so its hard to tell what they are saying without the narrator being really loud so it isnt great for bedtime. (Even when its loud its hard to hear what the characters say) and completely spoils it.
Voices inconsistent
I love these stories but I was disappointed with the recording. The voices are different volumes so you either have it quiet enough for bedtime, but then can only hear half the characters or you turn it up to hear the quiet voices and then the louder voices are too loud! Matt Baker has a great voice as does the last lady but Soran Jones read Jemima Puddleduck at a quick pace and I think my little boy struggles to follow it. It’s a shame as all the stories are brilliant and I wish they would produce all the Beatrix Potter stories
