Feeding Teat Wide Nipple Slow 3Pk

The teats are terrible - they collapse on themselves.

I bought everything medela for my baby from the two of there pumps, to the wipes, and bottles. When he grew out of the 4oz bottle I tried different bottles but he already got attached to that nipple, so I spent a fortune on medela 8oz bottles (more expensive then anti colic ones with the extra inserts) the 8 oz bottles are very plain and the numbers for oz are in the same clear plastic as the entire bottle not painted on like the smaller bottles. Again I got used to it over time, and ordered the medium flow as my baby grew. Now my baby is at fast flow, and I just now find out that medela does not carry a fast flow nipple?!? How is that acceptable from a brand this big? It is now clear to me that medela does not care about its clients when they reach the fast flow (at about 6 months) they stop caring to the point that they don't even make the size. Now I have to find a way to get my baby to drink from a different bottle which equals a lot of cries and discomfort. Thanks medela for not caring about my baby.

Even though it’s meant to be a S flow it’s still fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use a lot of the Medela products and are very happy with them all. We prefer the wide teat as our son has a better latch with it. It’s made from a good material and is easy to clean. It doesn’t have any little crevices that milk can get stuck in.

Work great with the wide collars, my baby found the wide base better than the narrow base teats. Slow flow is adequate, they recommend for use up to 4 months but at 4 months he wasn’t ready for the medium flow so we used slow flow until 5 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wide base teats are great for both bottle fed and breast fed babies due to it's design. Also it has helped my bub with colic issue as she sucks less Air due to it's design Only dowside is cleaning of nipple but that can be done by purchasing a smaller brush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wider base is great for bubs with a bigger latch or if Bub needs a faster flow. The teat is thicker than the slow flow, so tend to last a bit longer, not wearing out as fast. The shape is great for BF babes but also works for bottle fed too, as they grow and need a faster flow. They also work across medela’s big and small bottles. The teat can go cloudy in appearance after a while, but a quick soak in water with a hint of vinegar and they are back to new.

Loved them for a time but the mediums barely lasted a couple weeks before he started collapsing them too! Need a fast flow option for sure. Please! He’s only 6.5 mo and I don’t really want to have to replace *all* my bottles because you don’t make a fast enough flow nipple! The silicone is so thin they collapse pretty easy once they reach the limit.

I tried lots of bottles with my son and Medela are my favourite. The wide nipples are great.

The teat inverts in itself whilst my baby is drinking resulting in having to stop and pull it out of his mouth and let the test pop back out. Very annoying.

The nipples are realistic and were an easy switch for my baby at 4 weeks old. I like that they are dishwasher safe and BPA free! Great product! Would recommend to anyone!

I bought these nipples as they are the same brand as the breast pump accessories I have. Upon my first use they are leaking and it makes it hard to feed my baby. I thought maybe it was just that one nipple but using a new one doesn’t solve the problem. Is anyone experiencing the same problem? I bought two packages of the replacement nipples and can’t even use them. Am I not using them correctly or is there a step I’m missing? Any help or advice would be great!

I bought 2 sets of these "slow flow" nipples for my preemie thinking it'd be easier if I just got the set to match my breast pump. I had been using Tommee Tippee bottles since we got home from the hospital and it was becoming a hassle to continuously pour the milk into those. First day trying these Medela "slow flow" nipples and my baby choked 3x in one feeding. THREE times. I wondered why until I took the bottle and tipped it at an angle to check the flow. The milk came rushing out and made a mess all over my arm...(kinda impressive the power behind that flow... you know like how you're breast would be so engorged that when you pump you'd sometimes get a jetstream of milk shooting out?). Needless to say, I'm very disappointed in this because it was not what you'd expect from something that says slow flow.
