DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY
This product is absolute garbage. My baby has been sick all weekend and I have spent multiple hours each day trying to get this thing to work but time and time again no matter how close it is to the base station it keeps disconnecting. I have tried everything resetting, it re-pairing it and nothing seems to work. Absolute garbage. Of course, support from Owlet isn't available when I need it. STAY AWAY.

Connection issues are real... please be aware
I cant recommend this while yes it gives piece of mind while it works. Ours keeps disconnecting like no other. We even had the sock replaced and still keeps disconnecting. Even went as far as move the base station in to our kids room did not change a thing and its on like 5 foot from his crib. Last night alone disconnected probably 10-15 times ended up removing it. Also it says hes asleep when hes clearly awake and says hes awake when hes clearly asleep. Very disappointed in this product I would look at a different brand.
Too big for newborns
We purchased one as we have a 4 week early bub who keeps choking on her vomit during the night. The smallest sock is too big, the main time a new parent needs it and the sock doesn't fit. Very disappointed.
I love it!
This was gifted to me in exchange for content, however I ended up loving it! I’m a first time mom and I figured that baby monitors couldn’t possibly be that different from each other, but I was wrong. The Owlet Dream Duo helped me to reduce my anxiousness about safe sleep, temperature, and seeing my baby clearly. Plus, my baby has had zero discomfort with the sock at night, which was something I was originally worried about. The app is also so easy to use, and I love having all my baby’s information in one place. This is one of the top 5 items I would recommend to every parent. Especially first time parents!
Horrible connection issues
The connection issues on this thing make it so incredibly maddening to use that it's almost not worth it. I can have the sock, fully charged, properly on my child's foot, 6 inches away from the charging station and it will say there is a connection issue. Without fail, every single time I put my child down and I go to fall asleep, the sock alerts a connection issue. I've connected and reconnected to my wifi twice not and it does not make a difference. This causes more anxiety than it alleviates
Saving me from PPA
This sock is the only reason I can step out of the room while my baby sleeps without worrying. I was constantly disturbing her by walking back in to check on her, or spending the entire day in bed staring into her bassinet next to me. This gives me the freedom to get household tasks done while my baby sleeps - without stressing out. Great product. I want to get the camera in the future.
When a genius drops the ball...
Bought this monday (8/3). I got it the next day. Its a pretty amazing device. Im giving it 4 stars because of two things: ONE the base light HAS to be on to monitor your baby. Which is INCREDIBLY annoying because IT IS BRIGHT! For a device that is to help monitor babies' sleep, the company doesnt really care about the parents' sleep. Light inhibits sleep patterns. The only way to get rid of the light is to put it under something dark and heaby enough to hide the light all together, which defeats the purpose because if you sleep heavy, youre not hearing the alarm. And TWO, it did not come with instructions so it took me 2 days to figure out set up. I actually NEED it to log my babys HR and O2 during my baby's sleep for the cardiologist. If I didnt NEED this device, I would have returned it for the two reasons above and bought the nanit instead. For such an AMAZING device (to help prevent SIDS), the company really dropped the ball on the tech that could have taken it a step further - even if it is a small thing. Maybe they will come out with one where the base light will turn off (not turn off the entire base) and light up for the alert. That all being said, if you dont mind having to hid it away and ONLY rely on your phone to alert you, sure I would DEFINITELY recommend this. And if youre like me and ACTUALLY NEED it, well, be prepared for low quality sleep because of the light and/or make sure your phone is ALWAYS charged, notifications on loud, and wifi/Bluetooth is ALWAYS on.

Unfortunate let down
I’ve been using the dream sock with my baby for a couple of months now after previously using the eufy option- the main reason I changed to the owlet is for the oxygen saturation alerts because I’m a paeds nurse and that’s more important to know. My first issue was I really struggled to get it connected to my wifi even though there was no issues with it and after having to reset the sock multiple times it finally worked. Then the next thing is that I can’t have the dock in my room because the Bluetooth range is terrible. I can monitor my baby in his room from my room so I have to have it in the bathroom which wakes him up when it falsely alerts. The sock disconnected from the wifi once since the first trouble again for no reason. For the high price I’m really disappointed and honestly upset that I wasted the money now that I’m not getting paid leave. It has saved my patients so I bought it too but it’s just not working well for us and it’s worrying me because I don’t believe it’s working

I love the owlet and we have used it every night since bringing my daughter home from the hospital! It gives me peace of mind to make sure my baby is doing great and caring normally, which you cannot put a price on. I am so glad I had this ready to use starting when she was just a few days old since those first days home from the hospital can be nerve wracking as we enter a whole new world!
Base disconnecting
Owlet disconnects from base multiple times in the night for no reason causing alarms to go off. Base and sock are within a couple feet of each other, WiFi is strong and battery is charged.
Barely stays connected
Constantly disconnects, can’t even handle being one room away from the base. It’s a Temu sock with a US price tag. The only reason it is 2 stars is because it reduces my wife’s anxiety. When I’m watching him I just take it off or keep turning it off, it is a pain.
