these are okay however I would not recommend a i feel there are much better and more effective options out there that you can get. I found that the size of them was not big enough to cover my entire nipples, leaving only part of them getting treated. As well as this, I found that they were not the most soothing option that I have tried. They definitely did hydrate my nipples though, but they didn’t last very long either - drying up super quickly. They also moved round a lot and didn’t stay in place. They didn’t really offer a real cooling or soothing affect for my nipples.

These have been fantastic when my nipples have been sore, uncomfortable or they feel sensitive rubbing on my bra. Very soothing and love that I don't have to wash my nipples everytime before feeding. I always forget I'm wearing them and the last thing you need to be doing is washing the gel off before feeding, your little one definitely doesn't want to wait. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who's bub struggles with a good latch, any new mums and if you get dry nipples. They have been a life saver.

It felt cooling when I applied it but without trying it a couple of times I can’t comment on whether it made a noticeable difference in ‘alleviating dryness’ as advertised. Honestly I was not aware that this was a product for review as it seemed to be such a random single packet to throw in the box… I almost missed it and threw it in the bin. I would be open to trying them again.

Breastfeeding can be extremely painful, and some days it feels easier to give up. This product is wonderful for those days when you have sore or cracked nipples, the soothing and cooling effect is instant. It is super convenient because they come in single use pouches, so you can always have one in the nappy bag ready to go, there is also no need to rinse the product off afterwards. I only wish i’d found this product sooner in our breastfeeding journey!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of these was that the shape (rectangle) was unusual for it's purpose- other brands I have tried are more square. Perhaps due to the fact that unlike other brands gel type compresses these don't adhere? Initial cooling sensation but then that wore off very quickly compared to gel ones. I did have a slight sting on one side, but that was short lived. I did like that bub wasn't bothered by the taste of the residue (which you don't have to wash off), she doesn't like residue from gel ones. Good skin conditioning after one use as well.

It's been 3 months since I've last used this product during the start of my breastfeeding journey, and I can still remember the sweet relief they brought for sore, tender, cracked nipples. Great product. Helped with healing immensely.

I was recommended to try these with my first baby by the maternal child health nurse who visited me postpartum. I had such severe nipple damage that I was separate to try anything. I am unsure whether they helped. Between my first and second babies I have started education into breastfeeding medicine and have come to realise these could co tribute to moisture associated skin damage so did not purchase for use after my second baby. I will say they did provide some temporary symptomatic relief when used directly out of the fridge but there are cheaper options for this.
