Mico Luxe Capsule Midnight Glow

Purchased in 2024 and used for our 2024 and later 2025 babies. We had two of the same seats and both had the same annoying issue everyone else is reporting - the seat covers are supposed to be easily remove able and washable but they don’t actually stay on after you’ve taken them off the first time. They constantly peel back off and scrunch up as your baby is in the seats exposing the foam and the canopy’s also constantly fall off. These seats really are a pain to constantly have to adjust and also embarrassing to take out of the car and carry around with the foam sticking out and peeling everywhere.

The liner on our car seat did the same thing! Less than 3 months since use. Who do I contact? I sent an email and never got a response.

I’ve had this car seat for a year and I’m so glad my child grew out of it. I received this car seat as a replacement for a nice car seat I bought that was recalled and I wish I had asked for my money back instead. The car seat is safe and that’s about all it has going for it. For one, the “easy to remove cover” is not easy to remove. It requires a screw driver and it’s a pain to get it off. And getting the cover back on is even worse. It took four hands to be able to screw it back on and to wedge the cover back into the tiny slot it goes in. The sunshade never stayed in place because the clips slide out way too easily. And the chest clip isn’t super secure. It would click in place and occasionally unclip itself mid driving. I’ve had many car seats in my day and this is the worse. Seriously, buy anything else. I love Maxi Cosí products but I wish I could get my money back on this one. I didn’t try because it already was a hassle to get the replacement.

Bought in August for my baby, absolutely love it! Easy installation and no worries about it keeping my baby safe.

I bought this with the Tayla travel system, so far no complaints. Great quality and still looks almost brand new and my kid is 1. I don’t understand the previous bad review unless they were expressively pulling on the structure.

Foam exposure cheap quality canopy comes off happened right off I remove the cover to wash it

I just purchased this product that is also with the stroller. My grandson was born a week ago and when we put him in the car seat for the first time from the hospital the car seat on the base was like it was lifting up and down when it was attached the proper way we even took the ca seat out and put it back in again. I got this because I did my research and it was the safest car seat but now I’m thinking it’s not. Would not purchase. I’m getting my grandson another car seat because this isn’t safe at all

Haven’t even had my seat six months and the car seat foam detached from the seat because the glue is horrible. Do not recommend

Got gifted this and was super excited because it looked nice and cozy. Fell apart after maybe 2 months. The canopy doesn’t stay, the fabric comes off to reveal styrofoam structure and no matter how much I tuck it back in it doesn’t stay, the straps are uneven and don’t tighten the same, and over all it’s just been falling apart. I would love a refund because this has just been a nightmare and it wasn’t exactly cheap

As a first time mom, I thought the 5 in 1 was the perfect option for me. My brother bought it as a gift as he was excited to be an Uncle! I have been so disappointed, my baby absolutely hates this car seat. I just looked on the website for reviews... and realized wow... why did I not do this before?! Do not buy this. please, the stroller takes up a lot of space. My baby isn't even that big and I struggle to get him in and out of the car.... Buy something else guys

The Styrofoam has unglued from the plastic shell making it unusable and unsafe

Product fell apart in a month. Purchased in July for my newborn baby and I can’t get the fabric to remain on. The foam is exposed and falls over baby’s face while driving!!!!!!!

I have had this car seat for 6 months and like many others have said the styrofoam backing has come undone and now the seat is useless. I have tried reaching out to costumer care about this but they can’t seem to respond to emails or phone calls. I would suggest shopping around for a higher quality product with a better customer care team.

I have loved maxi Cosi brand for our swing, rocker, highchair but this car seat is terrible. My baby was only 2 months old and the car seat started falling apart. I can’t even get the fabric to go back over the styrofoam. Not only is this super dangerous and unsafe but it looks terrible. I would never recommend to anyone. I have all the connectors for our stroller and wagon for this brand - I feel like I just threw my money away!

Car seat cover is constantly coming off while my baby is in the car seat, hood does not stay on properly and tabs are always popping out. Have multiple times tried putting the liner back in place with a butter knife but it doesn’t last for long. Very disappointing!
