We love the ergo pouches, our newborn lives in his. They also wear and wish very well. The TOG ratings make it so much easier to figure out what he needs to wear at each temperature to be safe. The temperature gauge and ‘what to wear guide’ on the packaging has been great. The pouches are definitely an investment item, but well worth it for a good quality product. Especially because buying one also supports so many other community, ethical and environmental efforts. If it’s out of your price range check out the second hand section on the webpage. Side note on the company as a whole - they clearly care about their community and the environment beyond just being a business and making money. I first heard about them because they sponsor the Pop Culture Parenting podcast which aims to support the community and parents by giving education on child development and mental health. By sponsoring PCP they show that they want to make the word better and give back to the community beyond just making a good product. They also facilitate resale of their products on their website which shows they care about the environment. It would be easier for them to let preloved items go to landfill (and then people would spend more money buying new pouches), but by facilitating a secondhand purchase they keep the used items out of landfill. They also make the item available to those who cannot afford to buy the pouch new.
