This product has 2 sticky discs that you stick to whatever you want to lock.' I'm not sure how easily these come off when you want to remove it and I'm not sure how much reminents is left behind and how hard it would be to get it off if you are in a rental. Also, removing it would mean that you wouldn't be able to use it again. It's perfect for the fridge as it's something you can take with you and is usable in future houses. It can also be twisted down when it's not necessary (the toddler isn't around) so you don't have to unlock' it every time you want to get into the cupboard/fridge.
