Attractive and reliable
Excellent installation instructions with excellent adhesive stripped to aid the alignment in the installation stage. Although newly installed, the child-proof locking mechanism seems reliable and sturdy. Attractive finish and quality components.
Easiest install ever!
First and foremost, the installation of the gate is as easy as it could possible get. The instructions did look a bit complicated to begin with, as all languages for each step are written together, but once I got my head around the images it was very straight forward. The gate work very well and I would recommend to anyway. Couple of bug bares are, 1. the screeching sound the roller makes when opening/closing 2. Locking mechanism can be a bit fiddly, but you get used to it. All in all, great unit and would certainly buy again. Just to mention, shame it doesn’t come with additional brackets like the old one did, so you can attached it to multi walls. But you can to buy these separately.
Aesthetically pleasing and very functional
Very happy with this purchase. It looks much nicer than the jail bar gates. It was easy to install. It’s a little tricky to use one handed at first, but once you get the hang of it it’s great. I probably wouldn’t put it at the top of a staircase but everywhere else is great. Definitely recommend.
Needs adaptors for skirting, despite what they claim!
Works well, other than the fact you'll need to add spacers unless your skirting board is less than 10mm thick - which it won't be. Only the roll side side works without spacers, the 2 mounts to attach the other wide require more space, so their claim that this doesn't need adaptors is wrong,
