What parents are saying

AI summary of customer 539 reviews

Customers overwhelmingly praise the natural nipple shape and soft texture that enable seamless breast-to-bottle transitions, with most babies accepting the bottle immediately. The glass construction is celebrated for durability, clarity, and freedom from discoloration or odors compared to plastic alternatives. Reviewers highlight the responsive flow that reduces air intake and gas, the wide neck for easy cleaning, and the simple four-part design. Many note the lightweight yet sturdy glass withstands accidental drops. A few report nipple flow mismatches or individual baby rejection, though most resolve this by adjusting flow rates. Overall, customers consider this their go-to bottle choice.

    Great Glass Bottle for Infants

    by

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this bottle through Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really like this glass bottle. I tend to use a milk warmer for my baby's breast milk and this holds the warmth of the milk for a long time as other bottles have cooled the milk too fast before my little one was done with her bottle. The glass is super clear and light weight. I was afraid of trying out glass bottle out of fear of them being too heavy to carry in a diaper bag but these are surprisingly lightweight. The black numbers on the side for milk levels are very clear and easy to read. The nipple also works great for my little one. My little one likes to hold the nipple in her mouth as she takes breaks from suckling and this nipple only allows milk to come out when baby drinks so it does not give her that "drowning" feeling that she gets with other nipples. I use a bottle washer to wash my baby's bottles and these come out with no residue on them. I love that! I would recommend these to all parents

    Great glass bottle option

    by

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the look and feel of the Philips Avent glass bottle! It’s VERY easy to clean compared to plastic bottles, and I’ve always wanted to try a glass bottle. I would honestly choose glass over plastic any day because I love the idea of using a bottle that’s free from materials that could potentially contaminate my baby’s milk. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to try it! My only possible concern is that it’s glass. My 6-month-old is starting to hold her own bottle, so I would be a little nervous about her or myself accidentally dropping it. However, that wouldn’t stop me from purchasing this product. Overall, I really love the bottle and would definitely recommend it to other moms looking for a glass bottle option!

    Lightweight Glass Bottle

    by

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was very pleased with this lightweight glass bottle by Philips. I have tried many glass bottles and this one definitely feels the most lightweight and sleek. I haven’t had many drops with it, but I would just hope it holds up. A silicone sleeve option would be ideal! The top rim of the bottle does feel a little clunky. The nipple flow was a little slow for my 12 month old and not have preferred nipple shape. The bottle has held up well, washing with no lingering odor or discoloration. With the right nipple speed I would continue using this bottle as I do like the quality and overall design.

    Great little bottle

    by

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a high quality glass bottle that can be used throughout the first few months. The size is perfect for feeding little ones. Bigger glass bottles can get heavy but this one, with the curved shape, is just right. This glass bottle holds up well for heating and sterilization. I will say that the nipple flow was a little too fast for my little one. But, there is always the option to purchase slower nipples which is very convenient and the wider latch helps him transition from breast to bottle. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Love the peace of mind that comes with glass

    by

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Philips Avent Natural glass bottle gifted to me by Steller Product Testing panel for a few weeks now and it has become my go-to. The glass is honestly the whole reason I switched, I’ve been trying to keep microplastics away from my baby’s food as much as I can, and feeding her from a glass bottle gives me so much peace of mind. It’s lightweight too, which surprised me since I expected glass to feel heavier or clunky. I also love the overall cool feel while holding it. Quality-wise, these have held up really well. They go through my dishwasher regularly and I haven’t seen any discoloration or odd smells, even after all the, sterilizing, and temp changes from fridge to warm bottle versus the current plastic ones I have where they have gotten a bit foggy. That durability is honestly the main reason I keep reaching for this bottle over others. The only thing I’ll mention is the flow, but that is also cause my daughter is over 6 months, she’s starting to get a little frustrated with the pace, it feels a touch slow for her at this stage. We’re probably going to try a faster flow nipple soon. Not a knock on the bottle itself, just where she’s at developmentally.

    Great bottle

    by

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottle is great in appearance, weight, ease of cleaning and storage. I have a 6 month old and he is breast fed and bottle fed. I did notice that the shape of the nipple affected his latch when going from bottle to breast, which is probably due to how narrow the supple on the bottle is. We’ve tried all kind of bottles, and nipple flows. He tends to do best with the slower nipple flows, the size 2 that came with the bottle was a bit too much for him at times, if the bottle came with a sample of each nipple flow that would be perfect for all the mommas feeding their babies. One size doesn’t fit all. My baby was able to hold this bottle up while laying back easier than original Phillips glass bottle due to the weight it’s not as bulky as the original. Based off my personal experience I would recommend this bottle for babies who are bottle fed majority of the time because of the difference of the latch going from breast to bottle. I would like to thank the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending and trusting me to test this product.

While feeding my baby, the bottle feels lightweight in the hand while still being sturdy and feels high-quality. The glass design is sleek and durable, making it easy to clean without any lingering odors after washing it. The flow worked wonderfully for my baby, providing a comfortable pace during feeds. I used the bottle at home, on the go while running errands. Overall, it feels safe, reliable, and thoughtfully designed for everyday use.

    MUCH Lighter and Clearer

    by

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Avent 4oz Natural Glass Baby Bottle with Natural Response Nipple through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Right off the bat, the first thing we noticed was how light the bottle felt compared to the older 4oz Philips Avent glass bottles we already have. The difference was noticeable just holding it by itself, but it was much more obvious when we held the old and new bottles side by side. The glass itself also looks better and we liked the updated design. Our older Avent bottles are thicker and have a slight green tint to them, while the new bottle is much clearer and doesn't have that tint. In addition, there was no seamline on the bottle. We also noticed that water spots weren't as obvious on the new bottle after washing. So far, we haven't had any issues with discoloration or odors sticking around. The nipple flow was a little slower than what my baby is used to, but it didn't really cause any problems. He latched without any trouble and was still able to finish his bottles normally. One of the biggest difference we noticed was how quickly the new bottle adjusted to temperature changes. It heated up faster in our bottle warmer compared to the older Avent bottle. We tried it with a bottle straight from the refrigerator as well a a bottle that was already at room temperature, and we didn't notice any issues with the glass nor with handling after warming. The bottle also cooled down much faster than the older design. After running both bottles through our sterilizer, we waited about 15 minutes and compared them. The newer bottle was cooler to touch than the older one. The residual heat seems to dissipate faster, so the bottle reached a comfortable handling temperature sooner. My wife and I both prefer the newer design. It feels lighter in the hand, the glass is clearer, and the faster heating and cooling has been useful during everyday feeds. It still feels sturdy despite using noticeably less glass than the older version. I actually weighed the bottle and the newer bottle was about 23-24 grams lighter than the older bottle!

    Glass bottle

    by

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this bottle to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My baby is breastfed and accepted this bottle with no issues! Major pro there, as I'm sure many of my fellow breastfeeding mamas may know. In addition to this, the glass design held up perfectly in the fridge, with changes from cold to room temp and through dishwasher cycles without retaining any sort of smells like some plastic bottles sometimes can. The size is also perfect for younger babies all the way up to older babies who comsume larger amounts of milk. Overall I think this is a wonderful alternative to plastic bottles and ultimately will likely outlast most plastic bottles as well

Odor Free Glass Bottle Pairs Perfectly with Pump

    by

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this, Philips Avent 4oz Natural Glass Baby Bottle with Natural Response Nipple, from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Since my baby was born this past June, I've exclusively chosen to use glass bottles over plastic. Not only do they feel amazing in your hand when you're feeding your baby, but they also hold up very well in the milk warmer. My breast pump is coincidentally also from Philips, so using a Philips glass bottle was a no-brainer. The glass is well made but compact, so it's easy to hold in your hand. I've noticed that when I warm my baby's milk in it, it doesn't leave any odor like the plastic ones did when I used those. Furthermore, as it's a Philips milk bottle, I can attach it to my breast pump very easily. I love that the bottle's nipple is shaped similarly to a breast's teat, which makes the transition smooth. It's also good because when they're sleeping and lightly suckling, the nipple only lets milk flow then; it doesn't cause their mouth to fill with milk just from sitting in their mouth. I've sterilized and used it quite a few times and never had any problem with it. Even though it's glass, I don't feel as if I have to handle it delicately; rather, it's something I can use regularly without worry. The only negative for me is that because the bottle is quite fat/bulky in circumference, it's not easy for my baby to grasp it in their hands, and it's not a bottle I can teach them to do that with until they're a bit older. However, because sometimes I have to set them up to be fed while I complete my chores, it's easy for me to prop it on the blanket or a towel and have it maintain its hold. p.s breast pump part not included just wanted to showcase the compatibility

Easy transition from breast to bottle

    by

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Avent Natural Premium Glass Bottle as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really liked the Natural Response nipple because it provides a slow paced flow, and I didn’t have any issues with the nipple leaking when I removed the bottle during feeding. My baby was able to feed comfortably and didn’t seem to have any trouble with the flow. I warmed the bottle using a bottle warmer, and it was really easy to warm up before feeding. I also really liked that I could easily check the bottle and make sure it was ready for her before giving it to her. The transition from breast to bottle was very easy. She latched onto the nipple on her first attempt, which I was honestly surprised about because she can be picky with bottles. After feeding, I was able to put her down after successfully burping her, and I felt like burping her was easier with this bottle. I absolutely love the glass bottle. This is our first time trying a glass bottle, and I really like that it doesn’t hold onto odors like some bottles can. Cleaning was also a breeze, and I didn’t have any trouble getting the bottle clean after feeding. Overall, I really enjoyed using this bottle and would definitely continue using it.

    Love the materials and feel

    by

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thankfully received this baby bottle from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I had been eyeing the Philips Avent bottles as they’re highly recommended wherever you look online. I love the glass bottle and it feels good in the hand. I’m a first time mom and my small baby is struggling to latch on the “breast friendly” wide bottles and correlating nipples. I still need to work on her latch so once she’s feeding appropriately I can buy the multipack of the larger size as my baby is consistently consuming 4oz. I appreciate this bottle is simple and doesn’t come with a bunch of parts and can easily be washed or sterilized.

Would of loved if it was a slower flow nipple

    by

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trying this bottle as a product review, my baby seemed to love the wider width since he’s 6 months old and learning how to hold bottles on his own. Enjoyed having no inserts which makes cleaning it a breeze. He didn’t seem to have any acid reflux because of it. My only complaint would be that my baby is use to a slower flow, as much as I try to move him up from his normal nipples size 1. If I would go buy a slower flow nipple for this bottle, he would probably take it better!

If I would go buy a slower flow nipple for this bottle, he would probably take it better!
