Our Story

Who Are We?

Baby Bunting was established in Melbourne, Australia as a family-owned business in 1979. After more than 40 years bringing speciality products and services to our Australian customers, we wanted to offer the same support to families in New Zealand, crafting a tailored experience to support Kiwi parents and caregivers as they navigate the early years of parenting.

We first offered online shopping and delivery to customers in New Zealand in June 2020. We then opened the doors to our first physical store in Albany, Auckland in August 2022, along with our new distribution centre.

We pride ourselves on providing our customers with excellence in service, expert advice, great quality and value, and we are excited to offer all this and more to parents and carers throughout New Zealand.

As a specialist retailer, we cater to parents with children from newborn to three years of age. With over 6,000 lines, we provide parents with the greatest range in prams, car seats, carriers, furniture, nursery, safety, babywear, manchester, changing, toys, feeding, and much more! Our parenting room - equipped with a microwave, change table, baby scales and glider chairs enable parents to attend to their baby’s needs in comfort. These elements, coupled with onsite parking and a strong focus on customer service, provide parents with an enjoyable experience and unique shopping destination.

We also offer a variety of services including gift registry, click & collect, professional car seat fittings and lay-by.
